How to Mint Runes?
RuneGo provides the most cost-effective and user-friendly tool for minting runes. this tutorial shows you how to use the mint tool and why you need it.
Find Alpha Runes
Visit the Runes Live Mint page at: https://runego.com/live-mint. It displays the most popular runes currently. There are various indices used to assess the value of a rune:
Pending Mints: The number of pending mint transactions in the mempool indicates its popularity.
Launch Type: A fair launch means no reserves were held for the deployer, while premined indicates some reserves were kept for them. You can track the progress to see the reserved amount.
Progress: check the minting process for detailed insights.
Note that some runes may show low minting progress due to a large total supply, but they may have set a mint end block. Once the block is reached, minting will STOP regardless of the amount minted. We provide the estimated end time according to the end block.
Start Mint
Step 1: initiate mint
Explore Rune information on the Live Mint page and click the ‘Mint’ button. Alternatively, you can click on the asset to view details and mint on the detail page.
Step 2: Setting repeat mints
Choose the repeat mints you want. we support bulk minting of 1 to 1000 items.
Note:
There's a chance of mint failure with gas fluctuations or when minting is almost complete. The low fee rate would increase the failure chance.
You don't need to split UTXOs in advance. During the minting process, our tool will automatically split them to ensure the most efficient and cost-saving solution.
Every 20 runes will automatically merge into one UTXO. For less than 20 mints, we will use the most cost-effective merging method that will save gas fees most on average.
Step 3: Submit mint and receive the runes
After submitting, you need to wait for the transaction confirmation.
If the gas fluctuates significantly, you can accelerate your transaction to ensure it is collected. (we're working on the acceleration function, please wait :)
if the runes are minted out before your transactions are collected, you will not receive them.
Once confirmed, you can check your balance in the portfolio and begin your trading journey.
